Will Metzer

Having started music as a young boy while living with his family in Texas, even before he knew how to read a note of music, Will had started a marching band in the local town of McDade Texas with his classmates all of 6 years of age. Will played the trombone and as the instrument needs to be at the front of the pack in order to play it, Will has been a musical leader ever since. Then having travelled to the legendary New Orleans, Will spent a night on his father’s shoulders watching all of the great local legends in Preservation Hall. This started his jazz bug and hence the birth of Will’s music career.

He has performed all over the world and with some big stars. Notably he has performed in most of the major hotels: The Ritz London, Raffles Singapore, Europa Hotel Belfast, Narita Hotel Japan, Ned Kelly’s Piano Bar Hong Kong, Crazy Pianos Holland, Ronnie Scotts London and even performed the opening of the new Adelaide Oval with iconic band Pseudo Echo. Big Band music inspired by Harry Connick Jnr and Frank Sinatra really captured his imagination and his dream was to start a big band of his own which he did.
