Beat Boxer

Our beat boxer "Troy" is one of the youngest and most proficient beat boxers in town.

Beat Boxing is the art of making drum beats using only the mouth & voice as the instrument. By adding a style and various noises to it, such as humming while keeping the beat and/or adding scratch noises as a fill it builds to be a complete and unique sound. There are limitless beats that can be achieved, with a huge amount of perseverance and practice involved to make them flow and be musical. Beat Boxing was mostly used as a backup beat to rap and hip hop music, but has evolved in to its own genre of music and is a crowd favourite.

Our beat boxer "Troy" is one of the youngest and most proficient beat boxers in town. As well as fronting a band, he incorporates his talents to play along with pre recorded music, as a frame work for Hip Hop Dancers to perform to and as a stand alone performance.
